“To banish imperfection is to destroy expression, to check exertion, to paralyze vitality” - John Ruskin, The Stones of Venice
Welcome to Writing that Lasts.
This is a platform for me to publish all the things about which I write. Here you will find a selection of stories across a range of topics that set out to inform, entertain, and perhaps reveal the extraordinary in the ordinary.
When I worked in the media I felt constrained by being told what to write and how to write. The news cycle is fast paced with little time to think or reflect. I believe in freedom of expression and my goal is to write pieces that never date.
